Six months on from my first round of Rituximab (two infusions), I'm classed as non responding, however the consultant has said that its often effective after a second round. I've read some of the research around this but would like to know if there's anyone else out there in the same situation, failing on the first round, whose second round actually did have some positive effects so that they were able to lower the steriod dose.
Having failed on Humira and Enbrel and now Rituximab it would be great to know if the research is true or if its going to be another six months of waiting for improvements.
Many thanks
Sheila

hi!

I know a few people who have responded much much better 2nd time round. I think Bob Campbell is one of these people- his blog is on the members blogs section.

RTX works a very different way to the other biologics as it is a B cell treatment.

Oh I do hope it works out well for you.
